Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra of Thailand held a joint press conference in Bangkok, marking a significant moment in strengthening the bilateral relationship between India and Thailand. Our people-to-people connections and cultural exchange have always been a cornerstone of our relationship.”
The leaders also discussed economic cooperation, with both nations aiming to increase trade and investment in key sectors such as technology, infrastructure, and tourism. PM Modi stressed the importance of creating a favorable environment for business between the two countries, noting that Thailand is a crucial partner in India’s “Act East” policy. “We are committed to enhancing trade and investment flows between our nations, especially in sectors like digital innovation, clean energy, and manufacturing,” Modi stated.
