Union Minister Bhupender Yadav Announces New Eco-Trail and Bird Sanctuary in Alwar

Date:

Union Minister for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav, has unveiled plans for a new environmental project in Alwar, Rajasthan. Addressing a gathering at Kali Ghati, Yadav highlighted the recent efforts to enhance the region’s green cover and promote ecological sustainability.

“We have planted 3,500 trees at this spot near Kali Ghati,” Yadav announced. “These trees are of native species, carefully selected to thrive in this local environment.” The initiative is part of a broader effort to improve biodiversity and strengthen the ecological balance in the area.

The Union Minister also detailed the development of a new 5-hectare area, where a 2-kilometer long eco-trail and a bird sanctuary will be constructed. “On this land, we will build an eco-trail and a bird place,” Yadav said. “It will serve as a recreational and educational space for the people of Alwar, fostering a deeper connection with nature.”

The eco-trail will provide a scenic route for residents and visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the region, while the bird sanctuary aims to attract and protect various bird species, contributing to local biodiversity. Yadav’s announcement underscores the government’s commitment to environmental conservation and creating green spaces that benefit communities.

The project is expected to enhance the ecological landscape of Alwar, providing both environmental and recreational benefits. By focusing on native species and sustainable development, the initiative aligns with broader goals of promoting ecological health and public engagement with nature.

As construction progresses, the eco-trail and bird sanctuary are anticipated to become valuable assets for Alwar, offering residents a dedicated space for leisure and environmental education. The project highlights ongoing efforts to integrate environmental stewardship with community development, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for the region.
