Assam NDA MPs Thank PM Narendra Modi for Crucial Support and Developments

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal, along with other NDA MPs from Assam, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today to express their appreciation for several key initiatives and support provided by the central government.

  1. Flood Assistance for Assam: The MPs applauded the central government’s provision of substantial flood relief assistance in the latest budget. This financial support is designed to bolster flood management and aid recovery efforts in flood-affected areas across Assam.
  2. Charaideo Moidams’ UNESCO Heritage Listing: They also thanked the Prime Minister for the UNESCO World Heritage Site status awarded to the Charaideo Moidams. This designation is expected to enhance the preservation of Assam’s historical sites and boost cultural tourism.
  3. First Semiconductor Plant in North East: The MPs highlighted their appreciation for the approval of the North East’s first semiconductor plant.
