BJP Assured of Victory in Rajasthan, Claims Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore

Date:

Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) impending victory in the state, stating that the party is assured of winning all 25 seats in the upcoming elections.

Rathore attributed this confidence to the alleged misconduct by the Congress MLAs, including appeasement and loot, and instances of paper leaks during the last five years when the Congress government was in power in the state. He contrasted this with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developmental and welfare works, particularly the in-principle approval of Rs 1 lakh crore for drinking and irrigation water.

The minister also noted the trend of Congress leaders leaving their party to join the BJP. “Who will blame them?” Rathore asked rhetorically. He suggested that the prospect of working under Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, whom he criticized for lacking vision and intention and for frequently taking leaves, might be a factor in this trend.

Rathore further criticized the parties in the INDI alliance, accusing them of contesting the elections for their existence rather than for the people.

The minister’s remarks come at a time of intense political activity in the state, with parties gearing up for the upcoming elections. The BJP’s confidence in its victory and its critique of the opposition are likely to intensify the political discourse in the days to come.
