PM Modi’s Election Campaign: A Second Visit to Madhya Pradesh and a Public Meeting in Uttar Pradesh

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a public meeting in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh at 11 am today. This comes as part of his ongoing campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.

In addition to his engagement in Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi will also be campaigning in Balaghat, a Naxal-affected region in Madhya Pradesh. This marks his second visit to the state in the last three days, indicating the strategic importance of the region in the upcoming elections.

The BJP has fielded Bharti Pardhi, a new face, from Balaghat, replacing the incumbent MP, Dhal Singh Bisen. This move signifies the party’s intent to bring fresh representation to the constituency.

Earlier on Sunday, PM Modi kicked off the party’s election campaign in Madhya Pradesh with a grand roadshow in Jabalpur. The event saw large numbers of supporters lining both sides of the road, showering petals on the Prime Minister in a show of support.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also accompanied Prime Minister Modi, demonstrating a united front for the BJP in the state.

The Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh will be conducted in four phases. The first phase of polling is scheduled for April 19, followed by subsequent phases on April 26, May 7, and May 13.

As the election dates draw closer, the political atmosphere in the country continues to heat up, with leaders and parties ramping up their campaigns. All eyes are now on the voters, who will ultimately decide the direction of the nation’s leadership for the next term.
