Livestock Health in Bihar: A Priority for the Central Government

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a public rally in Jamui, announced a significant initiative by the central government – a free vaccination program for livestock in Bihar. The program, which is set to benefit approximately 2 crore animals, is a part of the BJP’s commitment to serving both humans and livestock.

“BJP is serving humans as well as livestock,” PM Modi said during his speech. “We have decided to protect livestock. The central government has launched a program to vaccinate about 2 crore animals in Bihar for free, to protect them from several diseases.”

The initiative is a major step towards ensuring the health and well-being of livestock in Bihar, a state where a significant portion of the population depends on livestock for their livelihood. By providing free vaccinations, the government aims to prevent the spread of diseases among the animal population, thereby securing the livelihoods of farmers and others who depend on livestock for their income.

The announcement was met with widespread approval from the attendees of the rally, reflecting the importance of livestock in the region and the potential positive impact of this program on local communities.

The government is expected to release more details about the vaccination program, including its implementation strategy and timeline, in the coming weeks.

This initiative by the BJP and the central government underscores their commitment to comprehensive welfare measures that benefit both humans and animals, highlighting a holistic approach to public service.
