Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Highlights Central Government’s Initiatives for Animal Husbandry

Date:

Jaipur – In a recent Holi Milan ceremony organized by the Gurjar Samaj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma lauded the central government’s initiatives aimed at promoting animal husbandry and cow welfare.

Sharma highlighted the formation of the ‘Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Aayog, dedicated to the welfare of cows, is a testament to the central government’s commitment to animal welfare.

In his speech, Sharma also mentioned the Rashtriya Gokul Mission, another initiative by PM Modi. The mission, started for the first time under Modi’s leadership, encourages animal husbandry using scientific methods. Sharma emphasized that animal husbandry forms the backbone of the farmers’ economy.

The Chief Minister’s remarks underscore the importance of these initiatives in promoting sustainable and scientific animal husbandry practices. These efforts not only contribute to the welfare of the animals but also bolster the rural economy by supporting the farmers.

The central government’s focus on animal husbandry aligns with its broader objective of doubling farmers’ income and enhancing rural prosperity. As these initiatives gain momentum, they are expected to bring about significant improvements in the animal husbandry sector and the rural economy at large.
