Improved connectivity to highways and key city areas
Objective

The Greater Agra project aims to decongest the existing city, promote planned urbanisation, and create new opportunities for housing, investment, and employment. The initiative is expected to boost Agra’s profile as a major tourism and economic hub.

Significance

Agra, known globally for landmarks like the Taj Mahal, has been facing traffic congestion and unplanned expansion. The new project will help create self-sustained urban clusters and improve the overall quality of life for residents.
