Jaipur, Rajasthan: Celebrating the victory of NDA candidate C.P. Radhakrishnan in the Vice Presidential election, Rajasthan BJP state president Madan Rathore said the outcome reflected the conscience-driven choice of Members of Parliament.
Rathore took a swipe at the Congress, stating, “This time Congress had called for listening to the voice of conscience, but it went against them. The conscience of many MPs truly awakened, and by voting for our NDA candidate, they ensured a resounding victory.”
Expressing gratitude to lawmakers across party lines, he added, “I also thank those whose conscience guided them to support Radhakrishnan ji. The MPs have effectively stamped their approval on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s style of working.”
The remarks highlight the BJP’s interpretation of the cross-party votes that contributed to Radhakrishnan’s comfortable win over the INDIA bloc nominee. Political observers note that the margin not only underscores NDA’s numerical strength but also reflects broader acceptance of Radhakrishnan’s leadership.
