CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Emphasizes Farmers’ Importance at State-Level Meet

Date:

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma spoke at a state-level farmers’ meet in Bikaner, underscoring the critical role farmers play in the state’s development and the nation’s prosperity. Highlighting that farmers are the backbone of the state, Sharma stated, “If a farmer progresses, then the country will also become developed. A person cannot live without food, that is why the farmer is called ‘Annadaata’ (provider of food).”

Sharma emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting the agricultural sector by implementing a range of farming-related schemes. He further added that the state government has introduced vans and veterinary doctors who will visit farmers in rural areas to provide treatment for their ailing animals, ensuring the well-being of livestock, which is essential for farming communities.

“Our government is implementing all schemes related to farming. We also made available vans and veterinary doctors who will reach farmers to treat their ailing animals,” the Chief Minister said, stressing the importance of comprehensive support for farmers’ livelihoods.

The event was a demonstration of the state government’s ongoing efforts to empower farmers and address challenges faced in agriculture. Through initiatives like these, Sharma assured that the government would continue to work toward the well-being of farmers and strengthen the agricultural sector in Rajasthan.
