PM Modi Assures Tap Water for Every Delhi Household, Criticizes BJD at Odisha Rally

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public meeting held in Kendrapara, Odisha, assured to provide tap water to every household in Delhi. He compared this with the situation in Odisha, where he claimed not all households have access to tap water.

“Modi is working towards providing tap water to every house in Delhi,” the Prime Minister said, referring to himself in the third person. He then pointed out the disparity in Odisha, stating, “Here not everyone has got tap water.”

The Prime Minister’s comments come in the backdrop of increasing concerns over water scarcity and quality in many parts of the country. His assurance to ensure tap water for every household in Delhi is seen as a major commitment towards addressing these challenges.

In his address, PM Modi also criticized the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), the ruling party in Odisha. He said, “Odisha is voting to change this situation. Odisha is also voting to end the loot of BJD.”

The Prime Minister’s criticism of the BJD indicates a fierce political contest in the state. His remarks are expected to stir up the political landscape in Odisha, where the BJP has been making steady inroads.

The rally in Kendrapara forms part of the Prime Minister’s campaign efforts to drum up support for the BJP in the state. His emphasis on basic amenities like water supply underlines the central government’s development and infrastructure push.

With the political heat rising in Odisha, it will be interesting to see how the BJD counters PM Modi’s remarks and what influence they will have on the electorate.
