PM Modi Accuses Congress of Snatching OBC Reservation in Karnataka

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public meeting in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, made a strong accusation against the Congress party. He claimed that the Congress has taken away the reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) in Karnataka and allocated it to Muslims.

The Prime Minister stated, “Congress wants to change the constitution and implement this rule across the country.” He further accused the Samajwadi Party (SP) of betraying the backward classes and remaining silent on this issue.

In his speech, PM Modi also mentioned that certain individuals are appealing for ‘vote jihad’ against him. The term ‘vote jihad’ is a controversial one and has been used in political discourse to suggest a concerted effort to influence electoral outcomes.

The Prime Minister’s comments have sparked a heated debate among political circles. The Congress party has yet to respond to these allegations.

This development comes at a time when the political landscape of the country is witnessing significant changes. The impact of these statements on the voters and the response of the opposition parties remains to be seen.
