Union Minister Giriraj Singh has come out in support of the Rajasthan Education Minister’s controversial remarks on Mughal emperor Akbar. The Rajasthan Education Minister had earlier referred to Akbar as a ‘rapist’, sparking a heated debate across the nation.

In a recent statement, Singh said, “Isn’t it the truth that Congress put our great men and women in the backstage? He has not said anything wrong- Akbar was a Mughal, and he didn’t do anything for the people of India.”

The Congress party has yet to respond to these allegations. The debate around the portrayal of historical figures in Indian textbooks continues to be a contentious issue, with differing viewpoints on how these figures should be represented.

The controversy has sparked a nationwide discussion on the portrayal of historical figures in school textbooks, with many questioning the accuracy and fairness of these depictions.

As the debate rages on, it remains to be seen how this controversy will impact the political landscape and the future of education in India.
