PM Modi Lays Foundation Stone for Amrit Bharat Railway Stations

Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone for the Amrit Bharat Railway Stations via video conferencing. This initiative brings a gift of ₹41,000 crore to the citizens of India and marks the commencement of nearly 2,000 railway projects. Under this ambitious plan, more than 553 stations across the country will undergo redevelopment.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that India has moved beyond dreaming small dreams. Today, India envisions grand aspirations, and the developed India belongs to the dreams of its youth. The transformation of railway stations is a testament to this vision. Indian Railways is advancing rapidly, and the dreams of the youth are now Modi’s resolve.

The concept of semi-high-speed trains was not even considered earlier, but today, it is a reality. Railways, which was once plagued by politics for decades, is now on an upward trajectory. Where imagination failed, railway lines now reach. Budgetary allocations are no longer impacted by scandals or dishonesty. The new railway lines provide employment opportunities to many. Today, investments in lakhs and crores guarantee employment for millions.

Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to the development of 550 Amrit Bharat stations is a significant step towards modernizing India’s rail infrastructure. These stations, strategically selected based on regional railways and major cities, will contribute to the nation’s progress.

India’s economy ranks fifth globally, and the railway budget now exceeds ₹2.5 lakh crore. The pace of laying new railway lines has doubled in the last decade. What was once unimaginable is now a reality, thanks to the relentless efforts of the government. The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is a beacon of hope, promising a brighter future for India’s railways.
