Yogi Adityanath Assures Financial Aid for Medical Treatment at Gorakhpur Janata Darshan

Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday assured financial assistance to people seeking help for the treatment of serious illnesses during the Janata Darshan programme held at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur. He directed officials to expedite the process of approving medical estimates so that eligible beneficiaries can receive aid from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund without delay.

Financial Support Through CM Discretionary Fund

The Chief Minister emphasized that no patient should suffer due to lack of funds. He instructed authorities to promptly complete documentation and forward medical estimates to the government for necessary approvals. Financial assistance will be provided through the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund to ensure timely treatment in reputed hospitals.

CM Yogi, who arrived in Gorakhpur to celebrate Holi, met around 150 people during the public interaction session organized at the Gorakhnath Temple premises.

Direct Interaction with Citizens

During the programme held outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, the Chief Minister personally approached each petitioner, listened to their grievances, and handed over applications to concerned officials with clear instructions for swift and effective resolution.

He reassured citizens that they need not feel anxious or distressed, as the government is committed to ensuring satisfactory and quality solutions to their problems.

Strict Action Against Land Grabbing

Taking a firm stance on complaints related to illegal land कब्जा and intimidation, CM Yogi directed officials to initiate strict legal action against offenders. He warned that negligence at any level would not be tolerated and law enforcement agencies must act promptly against such violations.

Government Support for Critical Illness Treatment

During the Janata Darshan, one individual highlighted financial constraints in treating a kidney ailment. The Chief Minister inquired about the availability of an Ayushman card and assured adequate financial support when informed that the person did not possess one.

Several others also sought assistance for treatment of serious diseases. CM Yogi reiterated that the state government will ensure that financial hardship does not become an obstacle in accessing proper medical care.

Encouragement for Children

The Chief Minister also interacted warmly with children who accompanied their parents. He distributed chocolates, blessed them, and encouraged them to focus on their studies and work hard toward a bright future.

Strengthening Public Grievance Redressal

The Janata Darshan initiative reflects the Uttar Pradesh government’s continued focus on direct public engagement, transparent grievance redressal, and providing immediate relief to those in need, particularly in cases involving healthcare and law enforcement concerns.
