Sri Ganganagar Issues First Digital Approval Under ‘One District One Product’ Scheme, Rajasthan Policies Go Fully Online

Sri Ganganagar, February 19: In a major step toward digital governance and MSME promotion, Sri Ganganagar has issued the first digital approval under the ‘One District One Product (ODOP) Policy 2024’. The move comes after the Rajasthan Industries and Commerce Department made the application process for three major industrial policies fully online from February 1.

The initiative follows directions from Industries and Commerce Commissioner Suresh Ola, ensuring greater transparency and ease of access for entrepreneurs.

Three Key Policies Now Fully Online

From February 1, applications under the following schemes are being processed entirely through an online system:

  • One District One Product Policy 2024
  • Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy 2024
  • Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024

District General Manager Harish Mittal confirmed that the first digital approval in Sri Ganganagar has been issued under the ODOP scheme, granting ₹60,000 as e-commerce assistance through the District Industries Centre.

One District One Product (ODOP) Policy 2024

The ODOP Policy 2024 aims to promote unique district-specific products across all 41 districts of Rajasthan. Under this scheme, micro and small enterprises are eligible for:

  • Margin money grant up to ₹20 lakh
  • Subsidy up to ₹5 lakh for advanced technology and software
  • Reimbursement up to ₹3 lakh for quality certification and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
  • Financial support up to ₹2 lakh for participation in marketing events
  • Reimbursement up to ₹1 lakh per year for two years on e-commerce platform fees
  • One-time assistance up to ₹75,000 for cataloguing and e-commerce website development

The policy is designed to enhance competitiveness and market access for district-based products.

Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy 2024

The Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy 2024 focuses on converting local entrepreneurs into global exporters. Key benefits include:

  • Assistance up to ₹5 lakh for export documentation
  • Support up to ₹50 lakh for technology upgradation
  • Grant up to ₹3 lakh for participation in international trade events
  • Reimbursement up to ₹2 lakh for e-commerce platform fees

The policy aims to boost Rajasthan’s export ecosystem and strengthen global trade participation.

Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024

The Rajasthan MSME Policy 2024 is targeted at preparing small enterprises for global competition. The scheme offers:

  • Additional 2% interest subsidy on loans
  • Assistance up to ₹15 lakh for raising funds through SME exchanges
  • Subsidy up to ₹5 lakh for advanced technology and software
  • Reimbursement up to ₹3 lakh for quality certification and IPR
  • Grant up to ₹1.5 lakh for participation in marketing events
  • Reimbursement up to ₹50,000 for digital tools
  • Reimbursement up to ₹50,000 for e-commerce platform fees

By making the application process fully online, the Rajasthan government aims to simplify procedures, improve transparency, and accelerate financial support to entrepreneurs.
