Jaipur: The first-ever Rajasthan Biotechnology Conclave 2026 will be held on February 25 at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jhalana. The one-day conclave, scheduled from 9 AM to 6 PM, will bring together scientists, industry experts, startup representatives, investors, and academicians from across India.
The event aims to strengthen research, innovation, industry–academia collaboration, and investment opportunities in Rajasthan’s biotechnology sector.
Organized by Leading Institutions and State Government
The conclave is being jointly organized by Dr B Lal Institute of Biotechnology, Atal Incubation Centre Banasthali Vidyapith, and the Department of Science and Technology Rajasthan.
Organizers stated that the platform will foster collaboration between industry, academic institutions, and startups, helping to strengthen the biotechnology startup ecosystem in the state.
Focus Areas: Healthcare, Bio-Pharma, Agri-Biotech and Sustainability
According to Dr. Aparna Dutta, Principal of Dr B Lal Institute of Biotechnology, the conclave will feature expert discussions on key areas such as:

Biotech Expo and Career Counselling for Students
Dr. Abhishek Pareek from Atal Incubation Centre said the Rajasthan government is actively supporting the biotechnology sector through policy initiatives and infrastructure development.
The conclave will also feature a biotech expo showcasing innovations and research advancements. Career counselling sessions will be conducted for students, while networking sessions will facilitate discussions between investors and startups on potential projects and funding opportunities.
Organizers believe that the Rajasthan Biotechnology Conclave 2026 will play a pivotal role in positioning the state as an emerging hub for biotechnology research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
