Jaipur: Around 74 lakh farmers in Rajasthan are hopeful that the 22nd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme may be released on March 13. However, there has been no official confirmation yet, and the date is currently being discussed as a likely possibility.
PM Modi’s Assam Visit on March 13
According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Kokrajhar in Assam on March 13. During his visit to the Bodoland Territorial Area District, the Prime Minister will participate in several major government programmes.
He is expected to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of multiple development projects and also address a large public rally in the region.
Announcement of PM Kisan Installment Possible
There is speculation that the Prime Minister may announce the release of the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme during the rally.
Previously, the 20th installment of the scheme was released on August 2, 2025 in Varanasi, while the 21st installment was transferred to farmers’ accounts in November 2025 from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
₹2,000 to Be Credited to Farmers’ Accounts
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments.
Each installment transfers ₹2,000 directly into farmers’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
If the 22nd installment is released on March 13, millions of farmers across India, including about 74 lakh in Rajasthan, are expected to receive the financial support aimed at strengthening their agricultural activities.
