Diya Kumari Lauds Enthusiasm for Tricolour Across Rajasthan

Jaipur, Rajasthan: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has hailed the overwhelming enthusiasm among people for displaying the national flag, calling it a symbol of unity, pride, and patriotism. Speaking to reporters, she said, “There is enthusiasm among all people. Everyone is hoisting the tricolour at their homes. People are joining this journey with the tricolour. We are all proud of our tricolour.”

Kumari emphasised that the sight of the tricolour fluttering atop homes, offices, and public spaces across the state is not only visually striking but also a strong reminder of the sacrifices made for India’s independence. She noted that such nationwide participation reflects the deep-rooted respect for the nation’s values and heritage.

The Deputy CM’s remarks come in the backdrop of ongoing patriotic campaigns encouraging citizens to hoist the national flag during important national events and commemorations. According to her, the initiative has united people from different communities and backgrounds under a common identity — that of being proud Indians.

Kumari further stated that the act of hoisting the flag goes beyond symbolism. It serves as an expression of gratitude towards the country and an acknowledgment of the duty each citizen has towards nation-building. “When every household displays the tricolour, it sends a powerful message of solidarity, showing that despite our diversity, we stand as one nation,” she added.

She also encouraged people to continue participating in such initiatives throughout the year, highlighting that patriotism should be lived daily, not just on national holidays. “The tricolour represents our shared history, our struggles, and our aspirations. Let us keep that spirit alive,” Kumari urged.
