Development Projects Inaugurated in Kanwas, Polytechnic College to Boost Local Education: Minister Hiralal Nagar

Rajasthan Minister Hiralal Nagar on Monday said that multiple development projects were inaugurated and foundation stones laid in the Kanwas area of Kota district, marking a significant step in strengthening local infrastructure and educational facilities.

Addressing a public gathering, Nagar stated that the foundation stone for a new polytechnic college has been laid in Kanwas. He said the institution will provide technical education opportunities to students from the region, enabling them to acquire skills necessary for employment and higher studies. “This will give wings to the hopes of children in the entire area,” the minister remarked, emphasising the importance of accessible education in rural and semi-urban regions.

In addition to the education initiative, Nagar highlighted efforts to improve electricity supply for farmers. He said that steps have been taken to ensure more reliable and efficient power distribution, aimed at supporting agricultural activities and enhancing productivity.

The minister noted that the projects reflect the state government’s focus on balanced regional development, with particular attention to strengthening infrastructure in smaller towns and rural areas. Officials indicated that the works are part of broader efforts to improve public services, connectivity, and socio-economic opportunities in the Kota region.

Local residents and community representatives were present during the programme, which included inauguration ceremonies and foundation stone-laying events. Authorities stated that further development initiatives are planned in the area as part of the state’s ongoing infrastructure expansion drive.
