CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates KDSG Super Speciality Hospital in Greater Noida

Greater Noida: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated the KDSG Super Speciality Hospital in the Dadri area of Greater Noida. During the visit, the Chief Minister inspected the hospital premises and held discussions with doctors regarding their role and the quality of healthcare services.

The event was attended by former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev and Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddh Nagar.

Doctors’ Confidence Crucial for Patient Recovery

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized that doctors’ behaviour and confidence play a vital role in the treatment process. Drawing a comparison with cricket, he referred to Kapil Dev’s bowling during matches against Pakistan.

“When Kapil Dev used to step onto the field to bowl, the Pakistan team often came under pressure even before the delivery. Similarly, when doctors treat patients with confidence and a positive approach, half of the illness is cured at that very moment,” Yogi Adityanath said.

He added that when both medicine and prayers work together, patients recover faster and the reputation of a hospital also grows among the public.

Advanced Healthcare Facilities for NCR Residents

The Chief Minister said the establishment of the super speciality hospital in Dadri is an important step for residents of the National Capital Region (NCR). The facility will provide modern and advanced medical services to people in the region.

He also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and the private sector to expand healthcare services and ensure quality treatment reaches a larger population.

Ayushman Bharat Scheme Highlighted

Yogi Adityanath also spoke about the Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, describing it as one of the largest healthcare schemes in the world. The scheme currently benefits nearly 60 crore people across the country.

In Uttar Pradesh alone, more than 5 crore Ayushman Golden Cards have been issued, enabling beneficiaries to receive free treatment of up to ₹5 lakh.

Hospital Built at a Cost of ₹200 Crore

The newly inaugurated 300-bed hospital, built at an estimated cost of ₹200 crore, will offer advanced medical services in fields such as cardiology, oncology and neurology. The facility will also provide modern surgical services.

With the launch of the hospital, around 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities are expected to be created in the region.

On the occasion, Kapil Dev thanked the Chief Minister and said the institution aims to set new benchmarks in healthcare services.
