Amit Shah Highlights Rs 35 Lakh Crore MoUs, Praises Welfare Implementation in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Addressing an event in Jaipur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the developmental efforts of the Rajasthan government under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, stating that the Modi-led central government has significantly improved the lives of the poor across India.

Shah revealed that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹35 lakh crore were signed during the Rajasthan Global Investors’ Summit, signalling the state’s emergence as a major investment hub.

“In the last 11 years, the Modi government has provided housing, toilets, gas connections, electricity, and free ration to 60 crore poor individuals,” said Shah. “These schemes are being efficiently implemented in Rajasthan under Bhajanlal ji’s leadership.”

The Home Minister also credited the synergy between the Centre and the state for driving inclusive growth and ensuring that welfare benefits reach the grassroots. The remarks were part of a broader address focusing on economic development, infrastructure, and social welfare in Rajasthan.
